| Directions | Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Sauté onion in butter until tender. Place hashbrowns in a large mixing bowl. Add onion mixture and the salt to the potatoes; mixing well. Next add sour cream and the cheddar cheese to the potato mixture and mix well again. Place in a 13x9 casserole dish. Bake 325 degrees for 55-60 minutes until gloden on top. |
