In a saucepan, combine vegetables and boiling water. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 5 minutes. Drain well. As vegetables cook in a saucepan melt butter. Blend in flour. Cook 1 minute. Gradually stir in milk. Simmer stirring until smooth and thickened. Add cheese and seasonings. Mix in vegetables onions and pimiento. Spread vegetable mixture into a buttered 1 qt casserole dish. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until bubbly. |
