| Directions | Place potatoes in pot with 5 large cloves of peeled garlic, bay leaf and thyme. Gently bring to low simmering boil. When fork tender, pour milk into potato mixture in glass bowl and save. Pull thyme and bay leaf out of potato mixture and throw away. Add 1/3 cup butter and hand mash. Once mashed, add heavy cream and mash until you get consistency you desire. Add salt and pepper and 1/2 tablespoon whole grain mustard. Delicious! |
