| Directions | Cream sugar and shortening, add egg and molasses, then add dry ingredients and milk. Mix well. Drop by teaspoonful on cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Sprinkle sugar on top of each cookie. Bake 12-15 minutes at 325°F. Do not overbake. |
