| Directions | In a saucepan, combine milk, flour and sugar; heat to a boil, stirring until thickened. Remove from heat. In another pan combine beer, broth, corn syrup and ginger; heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Stir beer mixture into thickened milk and flour. Return to heat; heat to boiling. Place cheese in bottom of soup bowls; ladle soup over cheese and serve immediately. |
