| Directions |
- Place the soup bones in the slow cooker. Sprinkle with the salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle the Lipton Onion Soup mix evenly over the meat. Place sliced onions on top.
- Place cover on slow cooker and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
- Remove meat from the slow cooker and separate from the bones and fat.
- Pour juices into a gravy separator to separate juices from fat. Pour juices back into the slow cooker.
- Place meat back into the slow cooker with the meat.
- Add the sliced carrots and potatoes. Add enough water so that the slow cooker is about 3/4 full or has the amount of liquid you prefer for the soup.
- Place cover back on the slow cooker and cook until the vegetables are tender, approximately 1 hour on high and 1 hour on low.
- After vegetable are cooked, taste test to see if the beef bouillon is needed for extra flavor.
- Serve with baking powder biscuits, French bread, or crackers.
