| | Directions | | Put in kettle and cook until tender butter, rhubarb and 1 cup sugar. Mix in a bowl 1/4 cup sugar, cornstarch, salt, egg yolks and cream. Add to cooked rhubarb mixture. Pour into unbaked pie crust. Bake until crust is baked and filling is set. Whip up egg whites with 6 Tablespoons sugar. Put on pie and brown in oven. |
