| Directions | Preheat oven to 300°. Prepare a large cookie sheet by lining it with parchment paper, and set aside. Beat the egg whites while slowly adding sugar to the mixture. Continue beating until you see soft peaks form. Drop tablespoonfuls of the mixture onto the sheet. Bake meringues for 1 hour or until they are firm to touch. Store in an airtight container. |
