| Directions | In 10 sterilized pint jars, place an even amount of quartered green tomatoes. Add a few sliced onions and green pepper chunks to each jar. Add 1 clove garlic and some hot peppers to each jar. In a medium saucepan over medium high heat, combine vinegar, water, sugar and salt. Bring mixture to a boil and pour boiling liquid over ingredients in each jar. Seal jars and place in a hot water bath, using enough water to cover the jars. Bring the water to a boil for 15 minutes. Makes 10 pints. |
