Line an 8" square pan with aluminum foil leaving a 1 inch overhang on 2 sides. Generously grease or spray with nonstick cooking spray.
Melt marshmallows and butter over medium heat until melted and mixed, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add cereal; stir until completely coated. Spread into prepared pan. Press evenly onto bottom of pan using a rubber spatula. Let cool 10 minutes. Using foil overhangs, remove treats from pan. Cut into 16 bars; press candy decorations on to top of treats if desired.
