In a saucepan over medium heat, add oil and onion. Saute until lightly browned. Add garlic and cook 1 minute more; remove from heat. In a saucepan over low heat, combine milk, broth, flour, salt and pepper. Continue to cook over low heat until sauce thickens, stirring constantly. This will take a while; be patient. Stir in onion mixture and Parmesan cheese. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions. |
