| Directions | Sift dry ingredients. Beat egg and add milk. Pour into dry ingredients. Stir until the batter is smooth. Pare apples and dice or slice very thin. Add apples to batter and blend together. Drop by spoonfuls into deep-fryer or hot oil (375°). Fry until a golden brown on all sides. Let cool. Serves 12-15. |
