Bring 1 cup water to boil; add Jello. Stir well. Add strawberries and cook over medium-high heat for 5 minutes. Set aside. Dissolve cornstarch in 1/2 cup cold water and mix well. Put strawberries back on burner; add cornstarch and stir, bringing mixture to a boil. Boil for 1 minute. Cool slightly. Blend 1 1/3 cups of mixture in blender. Then combine both and serve. Can serve warm or cold. Use on waffles, pancakes, ice cream, etc. Refrigerate leftovers. |
