| Directions | In large saucepan, combine sugar, Clear-jel or cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Stir in hot water. Cook and stir until mixture boils and thickens. Add lemon juice; remove from heat. Add apples. Fill with hot jars; process in hot water bath for 20 minutes. |
