Spread cream cheese on 4 slices of bread. Spread remaining 4 slices with jam. Join a slice of bread with cream cheese to a slice of bread with the jam. Do this with all slices which will make four sandwiches. Whisk together the eggs, milk and vanilla. Spray skillet with non-stick spray and preheat over medium/high heat. Dip sandwiches in the egg mixture to coat. Place in the skillet and cook on both sides until golden brown. Once cooked place on a serving dish and top with strawberries and whipped topping. You may add maple syrup as well. Note: Any fruit combinations taste great. i.e: blueberries and raspberries with raspberry jam |
