| | Directions | | Mix ingredients together for cake. Add enough hot water to make a batter. Pour into two round greased cake pans. Bake at 350° until center springs back when touched. FILLING: Stew the apples; add NutraSweet and cinnamon. On bottom of cake plate, spread a thin layer of apples. Place one layer of cake over apples and spread more apples on top of cake layer. Repeat with second layer. |
