| Directions | Combine brown sugar, butter, 1 teaspoon cinnamon in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Add apples and raisins. Toss to coat well. Spread this apple mix evenly over bottom of a baking dish. Arrange slices of bread on top of apples. Mix eggs, milk, vanilla and two teaspoons of cinnamon. Pour over the bread, soaking completely. Cover and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Bake covered with foil for 40 minutes at 375°. Then bake uncovered for another 5 minutes. Serve warm. |
