| Directions | Creamed mushrooms directions: Melt butter in large heavy saucepan. Add mushrooms and lemon juice;sauté mushrooms until wilted, about 6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Blend in flour, salt and cayenne. Gradually stir in milk. Cook and stir until thickened about 5 minutes. Stir in parsley. Makes about 1 qt. Spread about 1/2 c. cream mushroom in 9x13" baking pan. Make 3 layers each of noodles, cottage cheese, mozzarella, remaining creamed mushroom and Parmesan. Bake in preheated 325° oven for 45 minutes. Let stand 20 minutes before cutting. Makes 6 servings. |
