| Directions | Cut deep pockets on each side of sirloin. Sauté onion and garlic in 1 T. butter until tender. Stuff pockets with onion mixture. Skewer sides shut. Combine wine and soy sauce in pan large enough to lay both steaks flat in a single layer. Marinate the steaks 4 hours or overnight, turning occasionally. Heat barbecue grill. Grill over medium hot coals 25 or 30 minutes for rare; baste frequently with marinade. Sauté mushrooms in 2 T butter. Serve over meat. Servings 8. |
