| Directions | Combine corn syrup, brown sugar and butter in microwave-safe bowl and microwave until smooth and bubbling. Spread in bottom of a sprayed 13x9" glass baking dish. Arrange bagel pieces over syrup. In a large bowl, combine eggs, milk, evaporated milk, sugar, vanilla and salt. Pour mixture over bread, cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. Leave foil on and bake 350° for 50-55 minutes, uncovering the last 10 minutes. Toast should be puffed and golden. Cut in squares and invert to serve. Serve with caramel syrup drizzled over top. |
