| Directions | In a large skillet, saut onion in butter. After 3 to 5 minutes (once onions are translucent), add the garlic & saut for an additional 1 to 2 minutes. Remove onions & garlic from the pan & set aside. Salt & Pepper both sides of the cubed steak & place in the pan just used for the onions. Brown on each side. Add tomato soup (no water as directed on the can) & add back in the onion & garlic. Cook on medium heat until steaks are done. Serve steaks on top of mashed potatoes & pour sauce from the skillet over the top. |
