This is a party pleaser! Mix jello with the boiling water until the powder is fully dissolved then add cold water and alcohol. Pour the cooling mixture into plastic or paper cups (shot glass size). Paper cups are easier to turn inside out to eat jello. It is important to adjust the proportion of water to alcohol based on the proof of the alcohol to ensure that your jello will set. So don't go pushing the alcohol to guarantee intoxication without adjusting the water! Follow these proportion rules: For a 30-50 proof bottle you need 13 oz. alcohol 3 oz. cold water. For an 80-100 proof bottle (as in above recipe) you need 10 oz. alcohol and 6 oz. cold water. For those who drink 150-200 proof bottles (and are not in rehab!) you need 6 oz. of alcohol and 10 oz. of water. I like to use lime jello with tequila, strawberry jello with vodka, and black cherry with rum- but go ahead and be creative with your favorite alcohol. |
