Cut round steak into serving size portions. Salt, pepper and dredge meat in flour. Brown meat on both sides really well in small amount of oil. Place meat in a dish to one side. For the gravy, add flour to pan drippings, scraping to release bits from bottom of pan. Add beef broth and stir until thickened. In a casserole dish, layer meat and onion rings until all are used. Pour gravy over top of this, cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
