| Directions | Mix ingredients; shape into 1-1/2 in balls. Cook over medium heat, turning occasionally until brown, about 20 minutes. Or, cook uncovered in ungreased oblong pan (13x9) in 400° oven until light brown; 20-25 minutes. Mix brown sugar and cornstarch in skillet. Stir in the can of pineapple - juice and all, add vinegar and soy sauce. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly - reduce heat. Add cooked meatballs. Cover, simmer, stirring constantly at first then occasionally for 10 minutes. Finally, stir in the green pepper. Cover, simmer until a crisp/tender 5 minutes. |
