| Directions | Preheat oven to 400°. Cook pasta according to package directions to al dente. Brown sausage and onion in a skillet. Add garlic, mushrooms and bell peppers. Cook until peppers start to soften. In a greased 9 x 13 pan spoon a small amount of pasta sauce. Put down a thin layer of pasta, thin layer of sausage mixture, and layer of cheese. Keep layering sauce, pasta, sausage and cheese until the pan is full. Add a thick layer of cheese on top. Bake for 30 minutes covered with foil (not touching cheese). Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is golden brown. Remove from oven, let stand 10 minutes. |
