Cooking Turkey at a High Altitude Reviews
cooking turkey at a high altitude

"Absolutely the cooking time changes - I live at 9300 feet and I must cook my turkey at least an hour and half longer in a 375 oven to a temp of 181 deg F on the leg instead of the new 165, otherwise you get raw meaT.... and for baking extra egg use JUMBO only and a SLOWER OVEN FOR LONGER TIME. It takes patience and lots of failures to get it figured out."
"I live at 6,200 feet above sea level and I find that I have to add about an hour to my turkey cooking time when roasting at 325 degrees F. Definitely use a thermometer. I once lived at 7,200 feet and had to had even more time."
