Applesauce Bread

A type of quick bread, leavened with baking powder and baking soda, used as a tea bread or dessert bread. The applesauce provides the bread with flavor and moistness. Other flavoring ingredients include brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, raisins or currants, and nuts. Applesauce bread is especially popular in the United States.
