Slaw Burger

A type of hamburger that is common in the southern U.S. and the Domican Republic. Referred to as a Chimichurri Burger in the carribean, the U.S. version is known as the Slaw Burger or Slaw Hamburger. It is basically a traditional hamburger with a coleslaw dressing placed on top of the burger. The ingredients for the preparation of the meat and for the coleslaw may vary, but generally the burger is topped with a tomato, onions and then the coleslaw dressing so some of the dressing is absorbed into the bun.
