Pavé de Chirac

A farmhouse cheese from the Chirac region in the middle of France where many of the goat cheeses are produced. Made from goat's milk, this cheese is a soft-textured rectangular block that is ivory white in color. As a fresh cheese, it is mild flavored with a creamy texture that goes well with hard breads, crackers, and appetizers.
