A colorless liquor, that is distilled from the fermented mash of potatoes, corn and other grains, or fruit. It does not possess much flavor and will typically take on the flavor of any other product with which it is mixed or infused, such as fruit or fruit juices, tonic water and tomato juice. When mixed with tomato juice and infused with pepper and/or horseradish, it is made into a popular drink referred to as a "Bloody Mary" with a kick.
