A round saltwater fish with a flesh that is firm and flaky textured. Mild in flavor, the Sea Bass can be cooked by broiling, baking, frying, or steaming and makes a good fish for cooking whole. To check Sea Bass for doneness, use the tip of a sharp knife and cut through the thickest part of the fillet. If the fish has been properly cooked, the meat will appear opaque but will still be moist.
