Clementine

not yet rated
A variety of tangerine grown in Spain and parts of North Africa that has a loose, thin skin. The red-orange flesh contains little or not seeds and the flavor is very sweet and tangy. Clementines are the most popular tangerine variety, no doubt due to their ease of peeling, sectioning and eating without removing seeds. They can be kept refrigerated for a week or a little longer. They are available in the middle of November up until the beginning of February. They are also referred to as the Algerian tangerine.
