A kitchen utensil used when eating corn on the cob. The holder keeps hands away from the hot moist ear of corn. Corn or cob holders, as they are called, typically consist of a holder with a heat resistant, knobbed end that has two protruding shafts. The shafts are inserted into the ends of the cob enabling the corn to be held without placing hands on the hot or greasy kernels of corn. Sold in many food stores, there are a variety of different knob designs that fit a variety of different events and themes.
