Hey everyone! This is Laurie from RecipeTips.com. Today I am going to show you how to seed a tomato. To do this, it is really easy. Just take your knife, and you are going to want to slice the tomato in...widthwise: not this way; you want to do it this way. Slice it straight down the center. Now the reason why you are going to want to take the seeds out is if you are going to make fresh pico de gallo or anything where you want the tomatoes not to have so much juice, you are going to want to remove these seeds. See the little areas of the tomato where the seeds are? Slide the spoon right in and then just pull out, and the seeds come right out. You can also just use your thumb if you want to. Some people prefer to do it that way. Slide your thumb in and pull the seeds out. When you are finished, you have all the seeds removed and you are left with just the flesh of the tomato.
