Hi! This is Laurie from RecipeTips.com, and today we are going to be making a holiday cranberry tea. Add three and half quarts of water to a stock pot and place it on the stove over medium heat. To that, add one bag, twelve ounces, of fresh cranberries. Let that come to a boil, and then reduce the heat and simmer for forty-five minutes. After the cranberries have simmered for forty-minutes, add to the pot the juice of three oranges and the juice from two lemons. To this, add two cups of sugar, fourteen whole cloves, and three cinnamon sticks. Stir all the ingredients together, and then cover it, remove it from the heat, and let it steep for one hour. After it has steeped for an hour, strain it with a fine mesh strainer; then reheat and serve. You can garnish with orange slices and cinnamon sticks. For more great recipes, visit RecipeTips.com.
