Since I live alone, I freeze a lot of what I make for later. Chili, stew, split pea soup (and most other soups too), pasta sauce, and many casseroles freeze well. Just divide it up into individual servings. I use canning jars for just about everything except lasagna, salmon patties or casseroles. Things like that I freeze in foil packets.
Dip them in chocolate and set them on a parchment or waxed-paper covered baking sheet. Put in fridge till set. Also, if you have a dehydrator (you can find them really cheap at Walmart and sometimes thrift stores have them)you can dry slices of them and eat them for a snack or in cereal. They last a long time this way. Strawberry pie is easy or put them on cheesecake. You can freeze them and keep in a plastic bag in the freezer and then use them in smoothies. Just throw the frozen berries in a blender with a little milk or juice and some sweetener if needed (agave syrup is good). You could also add yogurt or a banana.
