Sorry, this is for a meat loaf recipe...
Hi there, what size should the loaf pan be? 8x4 or 9x5? Thanks

I am not sure which meat loaf recipe you are referring to but I am guessing it is calling for 2 lbs. of meat so you should use a 9x5 loaf pan. Most meat loaf recipes call for 2 lbs. but if it only calls for 1-1/2 lbs. of meat you could probably get by with an 8x4 loaf pan. Just be sure the top of the meat loaf is about 1/2 inch below the top edge of the pan to prevent grease from running over the edges. I always place my meat loaf pan on a cookie sheet to catch any grease that might run over the edge. It doesn't generally happen but it has occasionally so I just play it safe to prevent the grease spill in my oven.

Has anyone dehydrated tomatoes before? I was wondering how to dry them. Do you just dry the tomatoes or do you have to season them or do anything special to them before you dry them? I have had them before and they are great to snack on.
