Rhubarb pie

I am making my first Strawberry Rhubarb pie and am not sure what to do. Do I boil the rhubarb before I make the pie and for how long? I have fresh rhubarb from a garden. Thanks so much for your time.

You should not have to boil the rhubarb first. It will bake up just fine. Here are two recipes that could help you out: http://www.recipetips.com/recipe-cards/t--161046/rhubarb-streusel-pie.asp and http://www.recipetips.com/recipe-cards/t--2088/rhubarb-strawberry-pie.asp Good luck! Has anyone dehydrated tomatoes before? I was wondering how to dry them. Do you just dry the tomatoes or do you have to season them or do anything special to them before you dry them? I have had them before and they are great to snack on.
