Why is there no option for converting the recipes to metric, as in other recipe websites? Not all of us live in the USA and would still like to use these recipes, thank you, Riccarda

We have been discussing adding this option to our recipes and hopefully we will do so in the future. Although we do not have the option to switch to metric on our recipes, we do have a conversion calculator that is simple to use to convert the US measurements to metric. Just go to http://www.recipetips.com/kitchen-tips/t--510/conversion-calculators.asp and you can us this calculator to convert the recipe.

Cooking Oils
Aren't Olive, Canola, Sunflower, etc., all different kinds of "vegetable" oils? My daughter has a recipe that calls for "vegetable oil" and is concerned that the oils we have in the cupboard (above) are unacceptable.

Dehydrated Tomatoes
