Kids Lunches

My girls get a kick out of lunch when I make "octopuses". I take a hot dog, and cut it lengthwise but not all the way in half, leaving about an inch for the head. Then cut the "legs" in half again to make 4 legs. Place them in boiling water for 3 minutes and the legs curl right up. Put them on plate sitting on the legs and put some ketchup or mustard on the head of eyes and voila - Your kids can say they at octopus!

Has anyone dehydrated tomatoes before? I was wondering how to dry them. Do you just dry the tomatoes or do you have to season them or do anything special to them before you dry them? I have had them before and they are great to snack on.
