A tip that I always use (because I'm lazy and hate scrubbing pans) I just use parchment paper or foil when using a baking pan. Makes things easier and simple :)

These tips can be used when baking store bought mixes or handmade mixes. You should consider to spray your pan with non stick spray. This will help when removing the cake from the pan. I have forgotten this many times and have silently cursed myself every-time.
Aren't Olive, Canola, Sunflower, etc., all different kinds of "vegetable" oils? My daughter has a recipe that calls for "vegetable oil" and is concerned that the oils we have in the cupboard (above) are unacceptable.
Has anyone dehydrated tomatoes before? I was wondering how to dry them. Do you just dry the tomatoes or do you have to season them or do anything special to them before you dry them? I have had them before and they are great to snack on.
