Fox's Lobster House - Cape Neddick, ME

Speaking of great restaurants, I vacation in Maine every year and I always eat at least once at Fox's Lobster House on Cape Neddick near York. The restaurant is located next to the famous "Nubble" lighthouse. Fox's isn't a fancy place, but the food is fantastic. The lobsters are in a tank as you walk in. You can't get any fresher than that. Regardless of where you sit in the restaurant, the ocean views and the view of the lighthouse are breathtaking. And, their Maine blueberry ice cream is the best! If you're ever in southern Maine you've got to try Fox's.

Hi, Cantcook. I'm glad you liked Fox's Lobster House. I suppose, like your username says, if you really can't cook, then eating at good restaurants like Fox's is the way to go. By the way, what did you order while you were there? I had the huge Shore Dinner, which included lobster, potatoes, salad, chowder, bread, and dessert--too much food for one person, but it was so good.

Hey, Love Food, I was in Portsmouth, NH a few days ago visiting some friends and a bunch of us drove up there for lunch. It was only about 20 miles. You''re right--the food was great and the scenery was really something. Thanks for the tip!

Has anyone dehydrated tomatoes before? I was wondering how to dry them. Do you just dry the tomatoes or do you have to season them or do anything special to them before you dry them? I have had them before and they are great to snack on.
